About Cha³ Tea

Enjoy crafted boba drinks and waffles at Cha x Cha x Cha Tea! Where Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese cultures collide.

Located at 1702 US-181 Frontage A7, Portland, TX 78374, Cha³ Tea operates as a tea house serving Portland in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

I love going here, by far the best boba place i have been to. They have multiple different syrups, sinkers, and tea flavours! I highly recommend the Winter Melon green or black tea with the classic brown sugar boba, and also suggest trying out the Nutella taiyaki!!

Finally decided to check this place out, it's clean and quiet. The had shelves with Asian snacks. We ended up getting their Taro Milk Tea and Vietnamese Coffee with two Taiyaki's one with Custard and the other with Nutella fillings. Of course we had to take some Meiji Pretzel snacks to go. Just a heads up if you get the Taiyaki, the filling will be pretty hot!

Tried the taro smoothie, thai tea, strawberry dream and honey green tea. We also had the brown sugar Boba sundae, Nutella taiyaki, and custard taiyaki. Everything was really good, the strawberry dream was everyone's top choice tho. Yall plz give this place a try if u haven't been!

I'm a little late on the boba trend so I am glad I stopped in here! The aroma when I went in was divine, which I later learned was taiyaki being made. I'll try it next time for sure. Sierra was so helpful, letting me sample a few different types of boba. I ended up with the iced Vietnamese coffee with the yogurt popping boba. I absolutely loved it. I'd like to try everything on the menu. Sierra even helped by explaining how to use the straw through the plastic.
